NEXT DESTINATION...CANADA!
Begoña Ferreiro Yáñez. Primary School Teacher. Arts and Crafts Specialist.
The purpose of this resource is to offer support material that invites you to learn about a different culture and country. It is, fundamentally, about practical knowledge. In this sense, a series of basic information about Canada has been selected. This material is not aimed at a specific area of knowledge, so it can be used according to its relevance within the curriculum or according to your needs in the development of classes. It is brief but varied information, which includes characteristic elements of the country: general information, legends, traditions and customs, as well as some places of interest and other curiosities.
This proposal is aimed at students in the second and third cycle of primary education.
Proposal based on teaching the English language with transversal involvement in the different subjects of the primary education curriculum.
Ten teaching sessions.
Linguistic Objectives
To introduce students to basic vocabulary related to basic information about Canada. To encourage the active use of the English language.
