Completion requirements
In this module, devoted to character and family, you will acquire the necessary skills to
-
- make a description of yourself,
- write a blog post about a current issue,
- examine learning strategies collaboratively.
Learning about it
- Reading comprehension tasks with activities to raise awareness on collocation, and tasks to initiate the broadening of vocabulary on the topic of personality and family relationships.
- Listening comprehension tasks and a revision of the use of relative clauses.
- Pronunciation and speaking. Reflecting on individual sounds in English and strategies for learning.
- Writing. Reflecting on how to write, and guidelines for writing a blog post.
Communicating and sharing
You will have to participate in AT LEAST ONE of these three forums:

- What's typical?
- Nature or nurture?
- Forum: How learning languages shapes the way you are.
You will have to participate in this brief activity:
- A collaborative online quiz.
Making progress

- You will create a glossary on the vocabulary you learn throughout the module
- You will post a podcast with a description of yourself.
- You will design the 30 Day Challenge infographic: a scheme to incorporate learning activities and habits throughout a 30 day period. A part of this activity will be carried out in the face-to-face class.
