    The second element we are going to study is colour. It is a basic element in all designs and it is closely related to mood and feelings.

    Roadmap: First, a video will introduce art images and ideas in relation to colour, together with vocabulary and useful expressions. Second, there are two optional texts: an outline of colour theory with the basic terms and explanations, which will help to introduce the second text, a summary of the chapter on colour by German-born American art and film theorist and perceptual psychologist Rudolf Arnheim taken from his classic 1974 book Art and Visual Perception. Third, a colour matching game is included to play with colour harmonies. Fourth, we will have two other optional activities: a graded quiz and an assignment to upload. Finally, as you know, the most important part of the module is to share your ideas with your fellow-participants on the module forum.
