In the previous text we found sentences like:

  • More than five million people did have a cashless lifestyle last year.
  • I do believe more and more customers are now choosing paying with their contactless cards for the speed and convenience of it.

Now use do, does or did to add emphasis to the verbs in bold.

Paying by debit card makes me nervous.

e.g. Paying by debit card does make me nervous.

  1. She told me she prefers to use her debit card rather than using cash.
  2. I like using cash.
  3. If you lose your debit card, you can cancel it.
  4. You need to be more careful with your money.
  5. I realized pensioners use contactless cards more often.
