The first video is about a type of family that we could consider obsolete, if it ever existed in Spain. A middle class, 8 members (plus an assistant), with that economic status is something unlikely here in those years. But, since it's a fiction show, not a documentary, that's not the actual point, I guess. Anyway, it's not very common nowadays to see large families like that, since the trend is to have less children and live in smaller places. Well, maybe it's not a trend but a need, the world has changed a lot.
The second one pictures various types of, like the name says, modern families, all of them packed with variety and singularities. From age gap, to homosexual parenting, and racial diversity, it's a much more relatable show for today's people. I don't actually believe that their personalities are believable, they are that way for comic purposes, but, once again, it's not a documentary and it works, because the show is so funny.
And, about my own family, I think that the main thing I can say about it is that it's boring. But in a good way. I mean, we are four, my parents and my sister, but there is nothing odd in it, we all are pretty normal and I can't think of a single laughable plot that has ever happened to us. So I guess we have to get our laughs from normal events.
