Capitalism vs. Self-care

If you ask me, I really think that nowadays money is everything. We live in a capitalist society where happiness and success are measured based on your profits. Instead of prioritazing (prioritizing) more important social values, such as honesty and freedom, we are pushed to choose long working hours and have no personal life instead of dedicating our time to cultivate more our own happiness. I mean, working hard is important but, in my opinion, working for living is really different from living for working. I'm fully aware that money doesn't grow on trees, but having a good quality of life is priceless. Finding a balance between our proffesional (professional) ambition and mental health is the true challenge.

If money dissapered, we would have to change our priorities and lifestyle. We would live far slower than now and we would collaborate more with each other.  Societies would be self-sufficient and much more ecofrienly.
