Orwell´s novel recreates a society that is being constantly observed by its government. And that has inspired the popular TV show Big Brother, in which a group of people are locked in a house while they are being watched through cameras placed all over the place. Obviously, these people know they are being recorded, but, what if this was happening in real life? Nowadays we are constantly surrounded by cameras in our phones, as well as tablets and computers which could be employed to spy on us, as in the upcoming film Ratter. In fact, everything on the internet can be used to know what we are doing on a daily basis if we use Twitter or Facebook. Actually, remember that when that last company bought WhatsApp, people were worried because its owner, Mark Zuckerberg, would have access to our conversations and sell them to the United States.

In conclusion, in this era, we could easily be under constant surveillance without even noticing, and, moreover, only depending on our politicians´morals.
