  • Andy Warhol is famous for his images of popular objects and people. He used everyday items such as soup cans and Coca-Cola bottles, or well-known characters like Mickey Mouse and Marilyn.

    The Pop art movement took place around the time that advertisements, images from television and comic books became very popular.

    Andy Warhol made Pop art prints. Steps:

    Firstly, he created an outline of the image.

    Then, he painted it with bright colours.

    Finally, he printed the contour lines from the original image on top.
