I think green spaces are very important in a city, especially because of the traffic and the pollution created by a contemporary population. So I’m going to tell you about my favourite green spaces in Buenos Aires. There are a lot of parks in the city, but I think the most important one is Palermo woods. It’s a big park with lakes, a lot of trees, and a rose garden. People like spending time in this place because it’s very relaxing. Next to the park, there are famous Japanese gardens with a lot of facilities, like a cultural centre, a restaurant, a gift shop and even a Buddhist temple. Buenos Aires botanical gardens are also near Palermo park, and they are very interesting because of their big collection of plants and trees from all over the world. Here there are some greenhouses, a botanical museum, a botanical library, and lots of sculptures.
