*TASK OUTCOME: Making a calendar of celebrations (audio recording: podcast)

For this task, you want to record a podcast about festivities in the United Kingdom and in the United States. Follow this roadmap to prepare the podcast:    

1. Go through the festivities on the first two links of this Task 10: “Holiday and festival calendar in the UK” and “Major holidays and festivals in America”.
2. From each website, choose one festivity which you think is the most important in the UK and another festivity which you think is the most important in the US.
3. Use the template below to record a short podcast about the festivities you chose. First, fill in the first four blanks with the names of the festivities you chose, and their dates. Then, add the name of your favourite festivity and mention the reason. Remember to use phrases and vocabulary you know. Don’t invent or translate from Spanish.
4. Record your podcast, but try not to read it directly. Write some words to remind you of what you want to say and look at those words while you record it.
5. Your recording shouldn’t exceed 5MB. Finally, to upload your audio file, follow the instructions in the next paragraph. You’ll have until 1 April to submit the task. After that date, submissions won't be accepted.

To upload your audio file (not exceeding 5MB and on one of the formats mentioned in the task, e.g. mp3) with a podcast having the characteristics mentioned above, click on "Add Submission." Then, click on the arrow (if the arrow doesn't work, click on the left-hand top corner drawing of a file, which shows the word "Add..." when you place the cursor on it). After that, a new window appears, the "File Picker," and here, click on “Choose file” (if this doesn't appear, click on "Upload a file" on the left), and thus, you can see your computer files on the new window. Once you choose the file you want to submit, click on “Upload this file.” Finally, don’t forget to click “Save changes,” so that the file remains uploaded.
