Fourth Assignment
In his book Art and Visual Perception Rudolf Arnheim states that “any abstract proposition can be translated into some kind of visual form and as such become a genuine part of a visual concept” (p. 159, my emphasis). Taking this statement into account, think about an abstract idea (e.g. age, courage, danger, death, fear, freedom, friendship, future, generosity, happiness, honesty, horror, humour, intelligence, jealousy, justice, kindness, love, misery, pain, power, prejudice, trust, violence, youth, etc.), and try to find a concrete form that conveys the abstract idea you’ve chosen. Then, scan the page as an image and insert it in a LibreOffice Write document with the title "Fourth Assignment: Form". Below the image, mention the abstract idea you have chosen to illustrate with the concrete form and explain why that form is suitable for that idea in an English paragraph. Finally, save the document as an .odt file to have the original re-workable one, and as a pdf file to upload here by pressing the "submit button".
