SAMPLE: Part 1 - A work story - (level linkers).

And now let me tell you what happened to a friend of mine not that long ago. Her name is Claire and she worked for a marketing company. Her duties included dealing with customer's complaints. She didn't mind it though, as she had a decent salary. She didn't get on well with her boss and one day after having a row with him, she ended up being fired. She was furious and couldn't believe her eyes, but there was nothing she could do but try to look for another job. Well, in the end she spent "something like" a year and a half "or so" applying for jobs, sending in CVs and going for job interviews unsuccessfully. That made her go on the dole for a few months... During this time she had plenty of time to think about what to do with her life and she decided to set up her own company. She now runs an online business selling birthday cakes and never before has she been so happy. Her business is doing great and despite the difficulties and having no experience she has no problems making ends meet. I do think she is likely to make a lot of money in the near future. It's a pity we lack entrepreneurs like her.
