This is a skills course for advanced level ESL students who are interested in progressing in their oral expression above all, but who will also benefit from short listenings and readings to lead into discussion and debate. The first part of the course will be from Sept 15/16 to January 14/15. Part 2 starts January and ends May 14 . Each part contains approximately 60 hours of classes or activities ( two sessions of two hours a week from 11-13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays or 18-20 on Mondays and Wednesdays in Room A). If you need to miss a class but can attend the other group to make it up, fantastic!
Attendance will be checked in order to issue an attendance certificate at the end of the course. To get the full sixty hour certificate, you will need to not miss more than 20% of the classes.
The topics will be different in each term, of course, and students are encouraged to give feedback regarding preferences for conversation they would be especially interested in . Welcome!
