Every Saturday, Rita goes to an art club.

She paints pictures of animals, flowers and people.

That’s beautiful, Rita.

Thank you.

Hey, Rita. Let’s see your picture.

What is it?

It’s a painting of my family.

Hmm. It’s … colourful.

Those children think my painting isn’t very good.

I don’t want to paint any more.

On Monday.

Hey, Rita! Your painting is famous!

It’s on TV.

It’s in the newspaper.

It’s on social media.

Grace Lemonde, director of the National Art Gallery,
says the painting is a masterpiece.

She wants to find the artist.

On Tuesday.

Hello, Rita. You’re a very talented young artist.

I want to have an exhibition of your paintings at the National Art Gallery.

Every weekend, for six months, Rita paints and draws.

She creates twelve pictures for her exhibition.

When the exhibition opens, everyone celebrates Rita’s talent.

Rita feels happy and proud.

This work is wonderful!

We think your paintings are incredible, Rita.
Well done.
