If any impartial scientist or journalist agrees to test the validity of the myth of seduction, I can take any bet against the seduction community. That’s a job for the MythBusters or any similar TV show. We could test the myth of seduction in the following way:

This experiment would be time and cash consuming. But the guys who are really possessed by the seduction ideology should agree for a test with a classic stud competing against an average Joe or even ugly Joe, like Moe from the Simpsons. The best would be more than 2 groups of contestants to eliminate coincidences and make the whole thing statistically relevant (detailed suggestion in section the “Experiment”). Moes should win with no problems after a long intensive training on the best seduction boot camps money can buy. It’s all about skills and looks don’t matter, right? The studs would not be allowed to use any seduction tricks.

To keep the competition fair the studs would receive help from an ordinary psychologist who would merely try to boost their confidence. Both teams wearing similar clothes, with the same amount of money in their wallets would hit the same venues with the task to pick up as many hot women as they can. To cut costs I can imagine a variation of this experiment involving speed dating. The amount of participants should have to be large enough to make the whole test representative.

I am not saying Moes wouldn’t pick up any HB. They eventually would. The thing is their success rate would be very small compared to the studs. My only condition is that I get to choose the contestants from the average looking group of volunteers to the experiment, and the PUAs choose the studs from the group of volunteers that got the highest attractiveness rating. Like I said many times, beauty is not the same thing as sex appeal in women’s eyes.
