Workshop 3
Basic description
How is a recording studio?
Usually, a recording studio has two spaces acoustically isolated one from each other:
- STUDIO, LIVE ROOM
It is the space for making the sound, that is, where the musicians play the songs you want to record.
It is equipped with microphones to capture the sound and with shipping lines toward the audio control room.
- CONTROL ROOM
Here there are all the devices for recording (sound mixer, computers, DAW...)
A recording studio can include additional rooms, such as a vocal booth (small room designed for voice recording), or one or more additional control rooms.
